Choices Psychotherapy began as a sole practice in 1993, providing therapy to high- risk youth and families. By 1999, it was evident that the greater need was the larger community and Choices became a group practice providing skills and therapy to high-risk children and families. We have been committed to helping our clients find a path that supported a different direction in life that was more self-sustaining. Over time Choices Psychotherapy grew to include an outpatient clinic providing outpatient therapy to children, adolescents, adults, couples, families.

Opportunity

When we first encountered Choices Psychotherapy, we saw great SEO potential. Their team of therapists and psychiatrists in St. Louis Park needed better online visibility. With our expertise in psychiatry and medical SEO, we aimed to improve their discoverability.

Starting with their new website, we had no traffic or historical data, so we adopted a test-and-learn approach. We wrote technical SEO elements pre-launch to start earning visits immediately and developed a content strategy focused on their diverse services.

Creating searchable, compelling, and accurate content for the psychotherapy clinic required extensive industry research. Local SEO was central to our strategy, ensuring we attracted the right clients from the right areas.

Solution

The content strategy for Choices Psychotherapy involved thorough industry research and the creation of relevant content paired with Technical SEO. The strategy emphasized their extensive range of services and included newsletter generation, promotion of seasonal and niche content, and press releases for career milestones, enhancing domain authority through backlinks.

Conversion tracking was improved by adding contact forms to all service pages. Comparing metrics from July to October 2015 with the same period the previous year, visits increased from 2,158 to 4,117, with a 43.10% rise in organic traffic. Notably, the goal conversion rate saw a 510.54% increase. These results indicate significant success and optimism for continued growth.
