Project Manager (Websites and Marketing Retainers) Job Opening

Evolve Systems is adding a Project Manager! This person will work with our Director of Operations, Account Managers, Sr. Marketing Manager, internal team members, and clients to collaborate on projects. Project Managers lead and coordinate the internal teams to ensure a smooth and valuable process for client programs. You will be asked to articulate solutions (both written and verbal) to clients and internal team members on project challenges.

You’ll play a vital role in ensuring a great client experience as they move through their program and ensure internal team members have a clear path of expectations.

You will be a client’s day-to-day contact while in their programs as the internal lead for the team. You are responsible for understanding and leading the program scopes, managing expectations throughout the client lifecycle, and holding teams accountable to milestones and deliverables to ensure successful deliverables are met and budgets are followed within the SOW.

Job Description:

As our Project Manager, you will work alongside team members and clients to provide an extraordinary customer journey. We deliver projects that are on brand, on-trend, on time, and on budget for our ideal clients in the B2B middle market.

We are a fast-growing company looking for an experienced Project Manager who can help us expand our capabilities and play an integral role in helping us reach our 5 and 10-year goals.   

Responsibilities:

  • Great at drafting meeting agendas, being an active listener, and capturing detailed notes
  • Scheduling and maintaining accurate project tasks, production schedules & timelines
  • Lead project meetings and stand-up meetings
  • Maintain and enforce high standards of communication including project status, budget tracking, timelines, scopes, and change orders
  • Report progress and issues on projects/programs to the Director of Operations and Account Manager(s)
  • Own and manage project scopes and budgets across all projects
  • Lead and direct team members through retainers and projects
  • QA all program deliverables for quality and precision
  • Contribute to client proposals and quotes when applicable
  • Crosscheck program reports
  • AAR (After Action Review) preparation and meetings
  • Assess and evaluate program success
  • Guide processes while identifying and documenting (SOPs) changes
  • Lead client communication/meetings and guide client relationships
  • Be the link between the client and internal teams to ensure a smooth process
  • Complete quarterly rocks as assigned

Requirements:

  • BA/BS or equivalent working experience
  • Required 3-5 years of experience in agency project management
  • Agency B2B program management experience with innovative technology and digitally focused organizations
  • Knowledge and experience in marketing communications, and enterprise technology including CMS, CRMs, and other data or third-party integrations
  • Prior experience with marketing, design, and WordPress is a must
  • Understanding of an agency as a business and ability to run accounts profitably
  • Solid communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Must excel under tight deadlines and be able to manage multiple concurrent accounts
  • Experience with capacity planning and forecasting is a plus
  • Working comfortably as an individual or in a team environment, aligning with Agile project management and team goals
  • Familiarity with Accelo, Trello, Google Docs, and CRM platforms is a plus
  • Technically capable, excellent communicator, and a desire to improve processes
  • Demonstrate a strong ability to creatively solve problems with a positive and professional demeanor
